CLIVE, Iowa — A Council Bluffs woman has won a $10,000 lottery prize.

Stacie Butler won the 13th prize of $10,000 in the Iowa Lottery's "Ruby Red Crossword" scratch game. She purchased her winning ticket at Casey's, 4727 Southern Hills Drive in Sioux City, and claimed her prize Friday at lottery headquarters in Clive.

Ruby Red Crossword is a $30 scratch game that features 16 top prizes of $300,000, 47 prizes of $10,000 and overall odds of 1 in 2.29. For more information about this game, and the number of prizes still available, visit www.ialottery.com.

Today, lottery proceeds help our state in multiple ways. They help Iowa veterans and their families through the Iowa Veterans Trust Fund. They help the families of Iowa peace officers, firefighters and corrections employees who die in the line of duty. And they provide help for a variety of significant projects through the state General Fund.
