Northern Iowa Man Wins $30,000 Lottery Prize

CLIVE, Iowa — A Hancock County man has won a $30,000 Iowa Lottery prize.

Gregory Hanson of Garner bought his winning “Lucky Stars” scratch ticket at Garner Townmart, 260 W. U.S. Highway 18 in Garner. He claimed his prize Thursday at the lottery’s Mason City regional office.

Lucky Stars is a $3 scratch game that features seven top prizes of $30,000 and overall odds of 1 in 3.80.

From now until 8:59 a.m. on June 4, players can enter nonwinning Lucky Stars tickets into a lottery promotion for a chance to win a VIP Ultimate Art Experience at the Des Moines Arts Festival®. For more information, visit www.ialottery.com.
