CLIVE, Iowa — A Council Bluffs man was in for a surprise when he realized his winning lottery ticket was worth $30,000, not the $300 he originally thought.
Roberto Zavala Razo won the 79th top prize in the Iowa Lottery’s “$30,000 Crossword” scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Latino Market, 1535 Ave. G in Council Bluffs, and claimed his prize Thursday at the lottery’s main office in Clive.
