Hamilton County Woman Wins $50,000 Lottery Prize

CLIVE, Iowa — A Hamilton County woman has won a $50,000 lottery prize.

Wendy Olson of Randall won the fifth top prize in the Iowa Lottery's "Holiday 10X®" scratch game. She purchased her winning ticket at Kwik Star, 1704 Broad St. in Story City, and claimed her prize Tuesday at the lottery's main office in Clive.

Holiday 10X is a $5 scratch game that features seven top prizes of $50,000 and overall odds of 1 in 3.86.

From now until 9:59 a.m. on Jan. 7, players can enter nonwinning holiday-themed lottery tickets into a second-chance promotion for a chance to win a share of $1 million in cash prizes. For more information, visit www.ialottery.com.
