Northwest Iowa Woman Wins $10,000 Lottery Prize

CLIVE, Iowa — A northwest Iowa woman has won a $10,000 lottery prize.

Jennifer Frodermann of Milford won a top prize playing the Iowa Lottery's "Chillin' With My Gnomies" scratch game. She purchased her winning ticket at Kwik Star, 3350 U.S. Highway 71 S. in Spirit Lake, and claimed her prize Tuesday at the lottery's Storm Lake regional office.

Chillin' With My Gnomies is a $2 scratch game that features nine top prizes of $10,000 and overall odds of 1 in 3.81.

From now until 9:59 a.m. on Jan. 7, players can enter nonwinning holiday-themed lottery tickets into a second-chance promotion for a chance to win a share of $1 million in cash prizes. For more information, visit www.ialottery.com.
