CLIVE, Iowa — A northwest Iowa man has won a lottery prize of more than $74,000.
Grahamme Reed of Spirit Lake won a jackpot prize of $74,619 in the Iowa Lottery's “Hot Ticket Progressive” InstaPlay game. He purchased his winning ticket at Mega Saver, 1001 Sanborn Ave. in Okoboji, and claimed his prize Jan. 30 at the lottery's Storm Lake regional office.
Hot Ticket Progressive is a $10 game that eatures a jackpot that starts at $10,000 and increases with every ticket sold statewide until it's won.
InstaPlay combines features of scratch and lotto games. Tickets are printed on demand from lottery terminals rather than being pre-printed, and are sometimes called "scratchless" because there is no security coating to remove.
