"I couldn't believe it," Arends said on Feb. 2 as she claimed her prize at the lottery's main office in Clive. "I was like, 'Oh, my gosh! This is for real! This is for real!' is what I kept saying to my husband."
Besides paying off her vehicles, Arends, the office manager at a local bank, said she plans to save the rest of her winnings.
