DES MOINES, Iowa – The Iowa Lottery is officially ending five
instant-scratch games and four pull-tab games and has
established the deadlines by which players must claim prizes in
them.
The lottery has announced the end dates for the following
scratch games: "Summer Daze," "Winning in 3's," "Twice Lucky,"
"Winning Season" and "Holiday Riches." Players have until the
close of business on Sept. 14 to claim prizes in Summer Daze.
They have until the close of business on Oct. 12 to claim prizes
in Winning in 3's, and they have until the close of business on
Nov. 2 to claim prizes in Twice Lucky, Winning Season and
Holiday Riches.
The lottery also has announced the end dates for the following
pull-tab games: "Black Chip," "Triple Trouble," "Corn Craze" and
"Extreme Green." Players have until the close of business on
Sept. 30, 2010, to claim prizes in them.
Players may visit an Iowa Lottery retailer or one of the
lottery’s regional offices in Council Bluffs, Storm Lake, Des
Moines, Mason City and Cedar Rapids to claim a prize.
Winning lotto numbers may be checked at the lottery Web site at
www.ialottery.com or through the winning numbers' hot line at
(515) 323-4633. Winning numbers may also be checked with lottery
retail outlets or by calling the lottery at (515) 725-7900 from
8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Since the Iowa Lottery's inception in 1985, its players have won
more than $2.4 billion in prizes while the lottery has raised
nearly $1.2 billion for state programs.
