Beginning Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010,
Iowa Lottery retailers that sell
Mega Millions® with Megaplier® plays have a chance to receive a
$500 store credit!

There are 10 potential opportunities to receive the store credit during this promotion. Each retail store may win more than once. Beginning Jan. 31 and through the two-hundred fifty-thousandth (250,000th) Mega Millions with Megaplier* play** sold, if an Iowa Lottery retailer sells a play that is one of the numbered plays listed below, they will receive a $500 store credit.

Retailer store credit will be awarded for the following Iowa Lottery Mega Millions with Megaplier plays sold, as recorded on the Iowa Lottery online system database. We will note the winning retailer as we reach each level:

200,000   Hy-Vee Drugstore, Muscatine
225,000   Big 10 Mart, Bettendorf
250,000   Hy-Vee, Cedar Rapids

This retail promotion is effective from 12:01 a.m. on Jan. 31, 2010, when the first Iowa Lottery Mega Millions with Megaplier play is sold, through the date the two-hundred fifty-thousandth (250,000th) Mega Millions with Megaplier play is sold in Iowa.

The lottery will send a terminal message to notify all retailers when the $500 store credits have been earned.

*"Megaplier" means the optional feature purchased at additional costs whereby any non-grand/jackpot prize won by a Mega Millions play will be multiplied by the Megaplier number drawn, if the player has purchased the Megaplier feature.

**"Play" means the six (6) numbers, first five (5) from a field of 56 numbers and the last one (1) from a field of 46 numbers, that appear on a ticket as a single lettered selection and are to be played by a player in a game. There may be more than one play on a single ticket.
