Who is eligible to enter the promotion?
Only Iowa Lottery VIP Club members are eligible to enter Play It Again® promotions. Membership is completely free! Join now.
Which tickets are eligible for the promotion and when can they be entered?
Powerball® tickets purchased in Iowa on or after September 1, 2021 are eligible for entry during the promotion period of 10 a.m. on September 7 through 9:59 a.m. on September 28, 2021.
During what period of time does my ticket have to be purchased to be eligible to enter in the promotion?
To be eligible for entry in this promotion, Powerball tickets must have been purchased on or after Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
Why does the ticket number on some of my Powerball tickets have 21 digits rather than 20?
The first set of numbers in the Powerball ticket number may have either four digits or five digits. Both are eligible tickets as long as they were purchased on or after September 1, 2021.
If I've bought a Powerball ticket in Iowa, does that mean I'm automatically entered in the promotion?
No. You need to log in to your VIP Club account and enter the ticket into the promotion to have a chance to win $2,500 and have a chance at the $1 million prize.
Can I enter tickets from any other lotto games in the promotion?
Tickets in any games other than Powerball are ineligible.
Can I enter winning Powerball tickets in the promotion?
Yes, winning and nonwinning Powerball tickets are eligible to be entered.
If my ticket has multiple plays on it, will that count as more than one entry into the promotion?
No. Each ticket entered counts as one entry into the promotion, regardless of the number of plays on it, or the number of Powerball drawings for which the ticket is eligible.
Do I need to keep my Powerball ticket after I enter it?
No, you do not have to keep your ticket to be eligible to win in the promotion. However, be sure to check all of your Powerball tickets to see if they've won a prize in the Monday, Wednesday or Saturday drawing for which you bought them!

If I win one of the 20 Iowa Lottery prize packages, what's included?
Each of the 20 Iowa Lottery prize package winners will receive $2,500 cash and an entry in the Multi-State Lottery drawing for a chance to become 1 of the 5 finalists for the First Powerball Millionaire of the Year® drawing.
If I am chosen to be one of the 5 national finalists, what is included in the Celebrate@Home prize package I would win?
This package, valued at $20,000, includes:
- $10,000 cash
- Entry into the "Powerball First Millionaire of the Year" drawing for the $1 million prize
- 70-inch LED TV (to watch the live broadcast of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve), including a home theater system and home installation
