Which tickets are eligible to be entered in the Winner Wonderland® promotion?
Nonwinning holiday scratch tickets from these games are eligible: Season's Greetings Bingo, 4 Corners Holiday Crossword, $30,000 Holiday Crossword, $50,000 Holiday Crossword, $100,000 Holiday Crossword, Holiday Wishes, Gnome for the Holidays, Holly Jolly Luck, Elfin Fun, Holiday Riches, Merry & Bright, Freezin' Greetings* and Snowball Cash*.
*These games go on sale Nov. 2.
Are all tickets eligible for the same prize?
No, we're applying the "max bet" concept in this promotion, meaning that the size of the prize you can win will increase along with the purchase price of the scratch ticket you've entered. The drawing for the $500 prizes can be entered with nonwinning tickets in our $1 and $2 holiday games, while nonwinning tickets in our $3 and $5 games can be entered in the $1,000 prize drawing, and nonwinning tickets in our $10 and $20 holiday games are eligible for the $5,000 prize drawing.
How do I enter for the grand prize?
Entries submitted during the promotion that weren't previously selected as a prize winner will be automatically entered in the grand prize drawing.
What's included in the grand prize?
The grand prize is $250,000 - all cash.
Entering Tickets
How do I enter tickets in the promotion?
To enter, log into your VIP Club account, either through the LotteryPlus mobile app or at ialottery.com. If you have the app, you can simply scan a ticket to enter. If you're not a VIP Club member yet, join for FREE through the app or at ialottery.com.
Do I need to keep my tickets after I enter them in a promotion?
You do not need to keep your nonwinning tickets after entering them in order to claim a prize in a promotion.
However, for promotions where you enter using a lotto or InstaPlay ticket (like Powerball or Cherry Twist), be sure you have checked that ticket for winners before disposing of it.
How long do I have to get my holiday tickets entered?
You can enter the Winner Wonderland promotion from 9 a.m. October 5, 2020 through 8:59 a.m. January 5, 2021.
Do I have to choose a category for my entry before submitting the ticket?
No, when you enter an eligible holiday ticket, you'll automatically receive an entry in that entry ticket's prize category.
How many entries do I receive for each ticket entered?
You receive one entry in the applicable category for each ticket entered.
Can I win more than one prize in a drawing?
Yes, you can win one prize in each prize category on each drawing date. On each drawing date we will have three drawing categories: $500, $1,000 and $5,000. So, for example, if you entered a $1 ticket in the $500 drawing and a $10 ticket in the $5,000 drawing, you could win both a $500 prize and a $5,000 prize. But, if you had two entries in the $500 drawing, you could win only one $500 prize.
Do my entries roll over to the next drawing if I don't win?
Entries starts fresh for each drawing. However, any entries that don't win a prize in the preliminary drawings will remain eligible for the grand prize drawing.
I can't find the numbers I need to enter from the front of the ticket. Can you help?
Be sure to scratch off all of the scratch material in the play area on the front of the ticket to uncover the 10-digit number you need. Most times the number is located at the bottom of the play area, but sometimes it may run sideways. If you're having trouble finding the code on a particular ticket, contact us and we'll be glad to help.
I'm getting an error that my ticket number is not valid. What should I do?
There are a few things we ask people to do when this occurs:
- Be sure the ticket is not a winner. If the ticket is a winner, it will come up as invalid.
- Double-check the numbers you are entering to be sure they are correct and that you have all the boxes filled in.
- If you aren't sure which numbers to enter, check the "scratch ticket example" link on the "Enter Drawings" page within the VIP Club.
How many tickets can I enter per day in a promotion?
You can make 40 attempts to enter tickets in a promotion(s) per day. After midnight your account will reset, and you can enter more tickets after that time.
