Cedar Rapids Man Wins $75,000 in Lottery Prizes

Wiley Tuley Claims Four Prizes in Pick 4 Lotto Game

CLIVE, Iowa — A Cedar Rapids man has won $75,000 in lottery prizes.

Wiley Tuley won the prizes in the Oct. 6 evening Pick 4 drawing by matching all four numbers on each of his four plays in the exact order drawn: 7-3-2-5. He purchased two $5 straight plays, a $2 straight play and a 50 cent straight play.

Tuley purchased his winning ticket at Kwik Star, 4141 Center Point Road NE in Cedar Rapids. He claimed his prize on Oct. 7 at the lottery's Cedar Rapids regional office.

Pick 4, which has been offered in Iowa since September 2003, features odds of just 1 in 10,000 of winning the game's $30,000 top prize. It offers a variety of play options and wagers from 50 cents to $5 for the chance to match a four-digit number combination from 0000 to 9999. Today, lottery proceeds help our state in multiple ways. They help Iowa veterans and their families through the Iowa Veterans Trust Fund. They help the families of Iowa peace officers, firefighters and corrections employees who die in the line of duty. And they provide help for a variety of significant projects through the state General Fund.
