CLIVE, Iowa – A Johnson County man has claimed a $50,000 lottery prize..
Matthew "Matt" Mcareavy of Oxford claimed the 38th of 43 top prizes of $50,000 available in the Iowa Lottery's "Super Crossword" scratch game.
Mcareavy bought his winning ticket at Kum & Go, 101 Village Drive in Tiffin, and claimed his prize Monday at the lottery's regional office in Cedar Rapids.
Super Crossword is a $5 scratch game. More details about how to play this game, and number of prizes still up for grabs in it can be found on the Iowa Lottery's website, www.ialottery.com.
