$50,000-Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Council Bluffs

Thomas Fuller Jr. Claims Top Prize In 'Cash Lift' Scratch Game

CLIVE, Iowa – A "Cash Lift" scratch ticket sold at Sapp Bros. Oasis, 2608 S. 24th St. in Council Bluffs won a $50,000 lottery prize.

Thomas Fuller Jr. of Deer Park, Wash., claimed the sixth of eight top prizes of $50,000 available in the Iowa Lottery's "Cash Lift" scratch game.

Fuller claimed his prize Wednesday at the lottery's regional office in Council Bluffs.

Cash Lift is a $5 scratch game. More details about how to play this game, and number of prizes still up for grabs in it can be found on the Iowa Lottery's website, www.ialottery.com.

Since the lottery's start in 1985, its players have won more than $5.7 billion in prizes while the lottery has raised more than $2.4 billion for the state programs that benefit all Iowans.

Today, lottery proceeds help our state in multiple ways. They help Iowa veterans and their families through the Iowa Veterans Trust Fund. They help the families of Iowa peace officers, firefighters and corrections employees who die in the line of duty. And they provide help for a variety of significant projects through the state General Fund.
