CLIVE, Iowa — A northeast Iowa woman is the second person to win a $100,000 top prize in the lottery's "Snowfall" scratch game.
Tracie Tran of Decorah claimed her top prize Monday at the lottery's regional office in Cedar Rapids. She purchased her winning ticket at Walmart, 1798 Old Stage Road in Decorah.
Snowfall is a $10 scratch game with four remaining top prizes of $100,000. Overall odds of winning on a ticket in the game are 1 in 2.86.
Tran is the latest player to win big with one of the Iowa Lottery's nine holiday-themed scratch and InstaPlay games.
- On Nov. 13, Danielle Smith of Fort Dodge claimed her $30,000 top prize from playing the "Tree-Mendous Crossword" scratch game
- On Nov. 4, Michael Blaser of Bellevue claimed his $250,000 top prize from playing the "Winter Winnings" scratch game
- On Nov. 4, Matt Watznauer of Granger claimed the first $100,000 top prize from playing Snowfall
