CLIVE, Iowa — A northern Iowa woman has won a $250,000 prize.
Ellisa Muhs of Osage won the first top prize in the Iowa Lottery's "Top Dollar" InstaPlay game. She purchased her winning ticket at Casey's, 309 Main St. in Osage, and claimed her prize Monday at the lottery's Mason City regional office.
Top Dollar is a $30 game that features eight top prizes of $250,000, 48 prizes of $10,000 and overall odds of 1 in 2.96.
InstaPlay combines features of scratch and lotto games. Tickets are printed on demand from lottery terminals rather than being pre-printed, and are sometimes called "scratchless" because there is no security coating to remove.
InstaPlay games range in price from $1 to $30. For more information, visit ialottery.com.
