CLIVE, Iowa — A Des Moines woman has won a $20,000 lottery prize.

Samantha Fleming claimed the 11th top prize in the Iowa Lottery's "Four Corners Crossword" scratch game. She purchased her winning ticket at Kum & Go, 5830 SE 14th St. in Des Moines. She claimed her prize Monday at lottery headquarters in Clive.

Four Corners Crossword is a $2 scratch game that features 15 top prizes of $20,000 and overall odds of 1 in 3.33. For more information about this game, and the number of prizes still available, visit www.ialottery.com.

Today, lottery proceeds help our state in multiple ways. They help Iowa veterans and their families through the Iowa Veterans Trust Fund. They help the families of Iowa peace officers, firefighters and corrections employees who die in the line of duty. And they provide help for a variety of significant projects through the state General Fund.
