CLIVE, Iowa — An Emmetsburg man has won a $20,000 lottery prize

Nathan Ehrig won the 13th top prize in the Iowa Lottery's "Four Corners Crossword" scratch game. He bought his winning ticket at Fareway, 2008 12th St. in Emmetsburg, and claimed his prize on Monday at the lottery's Mason City regional office.

Four Corners Crossword is a $2 scratch game that features 29 top prizes of $20,000 and overall odds of 1 in 3.33. For more information about this game, and the number of prizes still available, visit www.ialottery.com.

Today, lottery proceeds help our state in multiple ways. They help Iowa veterans and their families through the Iowa Veterans Trust Fund. They help the families of Iowa peace officers, firefighters and corrections employees who die in the line of duty. And they provide help for a variety of significant projects through the state General Fund.
