CLIVE, Iowa - A Woodbury County man has won a $30,000 lottery prize.

Todd Gerritson of Moville won the 61st top prize in the Iowa Lottery's "Bonus Crossword" scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Murphy USA, 3115 Floyd Blvd. in Sioux City, and claimed his prize Tuesday at the lottery's Storm Lake regional office.

Bonus Crossword is a $3 scratch game that features overall odds of 1 in 3.52 and 144 top prizes of $30,000. For more information about this game, and the number of prizes still available, visit ialottery.com.

Today, lottery proceeds help our state in multiple ways. They help Iowa veterans and their families through the Iowa Veterans Trust Fund. They help the families of Iowa peace officers, firefighters and corrections employees who die in the line of duty. And they provide help for a variety of significant projects through the state General Fund.
