DocuSign FAQs

For more information, visit the DocuSign website help section.

What is DocuSign?

DocuSign is a secure site that allows Iowa Lottery VIP Club promotion prize winners to sign documents - in this case a claim form and W-9 - and file them electronically to save a stamp or a trip to the lottery office.

NOTE: DocuSign is only used to claim prizes won by entering a VIP Club Promotion. It is NOT used to claim ticket winnings at this time.

Who can use DocuSign?

Currently the lottery is only using DocuSign for VIP Club Play It Again® promotion prize winners. When you receive your promotion notification email that you won a prize, you will have the option to complete and sign the claim documents electronically with DocuSign.

How do I get a copy of my ID to upload to DocuSign?

The easiest way to do this is either to scan your ID or take a photo with your mobile device.

I didn't receive the DocuSign email that lottery staff told me I would receive. What do I do?

If you don't receive the DocuSign email, contact lottery staff right away and we will resend it. Be sure to check your Junk mailbox first, as sometimes they end up there.

What if I need help using DocuSign?

You'll receive instructions from Lottery staff at the time you win a promotion prize about how to use it. If you have further questions, you can watch this video that walks you through the signing process.
