LotteryPlus Mobile App
What is the LotteryPlus app and how do I get it?
You can use the app to:
- check tickets to see how much you've won
- check winning numbers
- see current lotto and InstaPlay jackpots
- join the VIP Club™ and enter Play It Again® promotions
- and much more!
The LotteryPlus app is available for both Android and Apple devices.
Using your mobile device, navigate to the site you use to download apps and search for "Iowa Lottery LotteryPlus."

How do I sign up for the VIP Club using the app?
- Open the app and tap the "VIP Club" button.
- Choose the "Join Now!" link.
- Fill out the "New Member Registration Form" completely, including accepting the "Terms and Conditions"
and tapping the "Submit" button.
- You'll receive an email from the VIP Club with a one-time code. If you don't see the email, please check your junk/spam
folder. Also, please add wmaster@ialottery.com to your safe contacts list.
- Copy or write down the code then tap the "VIP Club" button in the app.
- Type in your email and copy or type in the one-time code from the email you just received.
- After logging in with the one-time code, you will be prompted to set your password.
I'm having trouble using the app on my mobile phone to check the results of my tickets. Is there a fix for this?
The advanced photo capability on the newest smart phones has caused complications for some folks who have the Iowa Lottery's mobile app. After getting new phones, some Android and iPhone users have had difficulty with the ticket-checking function on the lottery app. In most instances, there is a fix.
- Consumers with Samsung Galaxy S21 mobile phones running the Android 12 mobile operating system should check to ensure they have the latest update to the lottery app on their device. (In January 2022, an updated Android version of the Iowa Lottery app was released – version 2.1.0 – which fixed the issue with the ticket-checking feature.)
- Consumers with the iPhone 13 Pro Max can change a camera setting to help with ticket scanning. Disabling "Auto Macro" enables the device's camera lenses to focus on tickets held about 8 to 10 inches from the device. Go to Settings→Camera→Auto Macro. If the Auto setting is on, switch it to off and try to scan your tickets again.
How do I reset my VIP Club password using the app?
- Reset your password by opening the app and tapping the "VIP Club" button.
- Scroll down and choose the "Update Password" button.
- Type in your email address and you'll receive an email from the VIP Club with a one-time code. If you don't see the email,
please check your junk/spam folder. Also, please add wmaster@ialottery.com to your safe contacts list.
- Copy or write down the code then tap the "VIP Club" button in the app.
- Type in your email and copy or type in the one-time code from the email you just received.
- After logging in with the one-time code, you will be prompted to update your password.
