Which tickets are eligible to be entered in the promotion?

Nonwinning $5 MONOPOLY Game Tokens Progressive InstaPlay tickets purchased on or after March 20, 2024 and nonwinning $5 MONOPOLY 20X scratch tickets are eligible for entry in this promotion.

Can I enter my ticket more than once?

No, each eligible ticket can be entered only once, and each ticket entered will receive one entry in the promotion.

Can I win more than one prize in the promotion?

No, players may only win one cash prize (paid via check) during the promotion.

How do I become eligible to enter tickets in this promotion?

To enter, individuals must be a current member or join the Iowa Lottery VIP Club. Members will log into their VIP Club account, either at ialottery.com or through LotteryPlus mobile app. If you have the app, you can simply scan a Powerball with Double Play ticket to enter. If you’re not a member yet, join for FREE here.

How are winners notified if they have won?

Winners will be notified by the email that they used for their VIP Club account.

I’m getting an error that my ticket number is not valid. What should I do?

There are a few things we ask people to do when this occurs:

MONOPOLY Game Tokens Progressive InstaPlay ticket

  • Be sure the MONOPOLY Game Tokens Progressive InstaPlay ticket was purchased on or after March 20, 2024.
  • The ticket must be a nonwinning ticket.
  • On the "Enter MONOPOLY Second Chance" page select "InstaPlay ticket" then enter/scan your ticket information.
  • Double-check the numbers you are entering to be sure they are correct and that you have all the boxes filled in.
  • Click here for an InstaPlay ticket example which shows where pertinent ticket information is located.

MONOPOLY 20X scratch ticket

  • The ticket must be a nonwinning ticket.
  • On the "Enter MONOPOLY Second Chance" page select "Scratch ticket" then enter/scan your ticket information.
  • Double-check the numbers you are entering to be sure they are correct and that you have all the boxes filled in.
  • Click here for a scratch ticket example which shows where pertinent ticket information is located.
