CLIVE, Iowa — A Cedar Rapids man has won a $100,000 lottery prize.
Quinton Kruse won the first top prize in the Iowa Lottery's "Triple Tripler" scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Casey's, 5350 31st Ave. in Urbana, and claimed his prize Monday at the lottery's Cedar Rapids regional office.
Triple Tripler is a $10 scratch game. It features eight top prizes of $100,000 and overall odds of 1 in 2.78.
From now until 9:59 a.m. on Feb. 28, players can enter nonwinning tickets from the Triple Tripler and "Money Madness" scratch games for a chance to win VIP suite tickets to either the national college basketball tournament in Des Moines or a Timberwolves basketball game in Minneapolis.
