Central Iowa Woman Wins $100,000 Lottery Prize

Susan Holmes Claims Top Prize In '$100,000 Mega Crossword' Game

CLIVE, Iowa — A Waukee woman just made her second trip to claim an Iowa Lottery prize, but this one was even bigger.

Susan Holmes picked up her $100,000 prize Monday at Iowa Lottery headquarters in Clive. Holmes won a top prize in the "$100,000 Mega Crossword" scratch game. She bought her winning ticket at Kwik Star, 855 SE Alice's Road in Waukee.

Holmes had previously won $30,000 playing an Iowa Lottery scratch game several years ago.

The $100,000 Mega Crossword game is a $10 scratch game that features 46 top prizes of $100,000, 92 prizes of $10,000 and overall odds of 1 in 3.29. For more information about this game, and the number of prizes still available, visit www.ialottery.com.
