CLIVE, Iowa — An Iowa City man has won a $500,000 lottery prize.
Jeffery Wolf won the fourth top prize in the Iowa Lottery's “Mega Bucks” scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Hy-Vee, 1125 N. Dodge St. in Iowa City, and claimed his prize Tuesday at lottery headquarters in Clive.
Three other Iowans have won a Mega Bucks top prize since the game debuted in September of 2024. They are:
- Debora Dunn of Bettendorf
- Keith Madsen of Storm Lake
- David Smutz of Cedar Rapids
Nine top prizes remain in Mega Bucks, which is a $50 scratch ticket with overall odds of 1 in 3.09. For more information about this game, visit www.ialottery.com.
