CLIVE, Iowa — A Crawford County man has won the first $50,000 prize in a new lottery game.
John Langholz of Denison won the big prize in the Iowa Lottery's "$50,000 Holiday Crossword," which began sales on Monday. He purchased his winning ticket at Kimmes Country Store, 1108 Fourth Ave. S. in Denison, and claimed his prize on Wednesday at the lottery's regional office in Storm Lake.
