IC3, or Internet Crime Complaint Center, is another resource in fighting Internet scams. IC3 is a partnership between the FBI
and the National White Collar Crime Center. If you believe you've been the victim of a scam online, you should first contact your
local law enforcement agency. But IC3 can be a resource as well. Analysts there review and research the complaints made to the site,
sending out information to local, state, federal or international law enforcement as appropriate.
You can reach the IC3 at www.ic3.gov. Follow the instructions on the site to file
a complaint about an online scam that happened to you.
