CLIVE, Iowa - A southeast Iowa man has won a $10,000 lottery prize.

Danny Campbell of Fairfield won the 15th prize of $10,000 in the Iowa Lottery's "$100,000 Mega Crossword" scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Quality Quick Stop, 201 W. Burlington Ave. in Fairfield, and claimed his prize Monday at the lottery's Cedar Rapids regional office.

The $100,000 Mega Crossword game is a $10 scratch game that features 46 top prizes of $100,000, 92 prizes of $10,000 and overall odds of 1 in 3.29. For more information about this game, and the number of prizes still available, visit ialottery.com.

Today, lottery proceeds help our state in multiple ways. They help Iowa veterans and their families through the Iowa Veterans Trust Fund. They help the families of Iowa peace officers, firefighters and corrections employees who die in the line of duty. And they provide help for a variety of significant projects through the state General Fund.
