CLIVE, Iowa — A southern Iowa man spent $10 to win a $100,000 lottery prize.

Mike Ford of Albia won a top prize in the "$100,000 Mega Crossword" scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Jim & Charlie's Affiliated Food Store, 121 N. Clinton St. in Albia. Ford claimed his prize Tuesday at lottery headquarters in Clive.

He is the 27th person to win a $100,000 Mega Crossword top prize, with 19 more top prizes remaining in the game. The $10 game has overall odds of 1 in 3.29. For more information about this game, and the number of prizes still available, visit www.ialottery.com.
