CLIVE, Iowa — A western Iowa man has won a lottery prize of $306,239.
Nicholas Ohl of Dow City bought his winning "Super 7s Progressive" InstaPlay ticket at Casey's, 1608 4th Ave. S. in Denison, and claimed his prize Tuesday at lottery headquarters in Clive.
Ohl's win is the fourth-largest jackpot in the history of the Super 7s Progressive game. Here are the top five biggest wins since the game debuted in October 2022:
1. Bradley Carter of Des Moines claimed his $443,507 prize in Feb. 2023
2. Nicholas Miller of Bernard claimed his $390,191 prize in July 2023
3. Susan Plueger of Rock Valley claimed her $308,219 prize in Oct. 2023
4. Nicholas Ohl of Dow City claimed his $306,239 prize in March 2025
5. Ryan Patrick of Philadelphia, Penn., claimed his $199,463 prize in May 2024
Super 7s Progressive is a $30 lottery game that features a jackpot that starts at $50,000 and increases with each ticket sold statewide until it is won.
