Northeast Iowa Man Wins Second Big Lottery Prize In Three Years

CLIVE, Iowa — An Allamakee County man has won a $10,000 Iowa Lottery prize, his second big win in three years.

Ward Williams of Harpers Ferry won his latest big prize on a "Lucky 7 Bonus" scratch ticket he bought at Kwik Star, 905 Short St. in Decorah. He claimed his prize Thursday at the lottery's regional office in Cedar Rapids.

Williams previously won a prize of $13,322.30 in 2022, from an InstaPlay game. He purchased that ticket at a retailer in Harpers Ferry.

Lucky 7 Bonus is a $20 scratch game that features 20 top prizes of $250,000, 76 prizes of $10,000 and overall odds of 1 in 2.88. For more information about this game, and the number of prizes still available, visit www.ialottery.com.
