CLIVE, Iowa A northwest Iowa man has won a $150,000 lottery top prize.

Steven LeScala of Le Mars bought his winning Gem 7s scratch ticket at the Dailey Stop, 327 Plymouth St. NE in Le Mars. He claimed his prize Friday at the lottery's regional office in Storm Lake.

LeScala is the second person to claim a top prize in Gem 7s since it debuted in December 2024. Jennifer Hotz of Newhall claimed the first top prize in March. There are now 14 remaining top prizes of $150,000 waiting to be claimed.
